TASTE News Service, November 18, 2016 - Crooked Goat Brewing has opened a new tap room in The Barlow, a 220,000-square-foot culinary and arts center in the town of Sebastopol.

Brewery founders and owners Rich Allen, Paul Vyenielo, Scott Timann, Will Erickson, Andrew Cook, and Andy Erickson discovered their passion by brewing beer in small patches for family and friends. They quickly outgrew their 10-gallon brewing system (which they moved from garage to garage in each others' homes) and recently moved into their full-time production facility and taproom in this distinctive western Sonoma County facility.

The proprietors promised a casual, family-friendly, and dog-friendly atmosphere at the taproom, which serves up to 14 beers on tap, including four IPAs, two double IPAs, three wheat brews, three stouts, and a lager. The eats menu offers food from several Sonoma County sources — BBQ Smokehouse Bistro & Catering, Vignette Pizzeria, fresh pretzels from Full Circle Baking Company, and flavored popcorn from Comet Corn.
