Madera Sets Holiday Spirit Weekend

TASTE News Service, October 30, 2019 - On November 9 and 10, the Madera Wine Trail will host its 17th Annual Holiday Spirit Weekend.

Visitors to their participating wineries can taste a wide variety of wines with a keepsake wine glass, enjoy live music, holiday gift shopping and sample food from local caterers and food trucks. The family-owned wineries in the area promise there is something for everyone—newcomers to connoisseurs—on the Wine Trail.

The Madera region has been winemaking since the late 1800's. Visitors can expect a unique local adventure with special activities beyond wine tasting including winery tours, live music concerts all weekend, food, shopping, beautiful scenery and relaxing outdoor patio lounging. Participating wineries include: Fasi Estate Winery, Ficklin Vineyards (by appointment only), Idle Hour Winery, Papagni Winery, San Joaquin Winery, Westbrook Wine Farm (by appointment only), Toca Madera Winery.

Tickets are priced at $25 in advance and $30 the weekend of the event (designated drivers are free of charge).  A downloadable map, winery and ticket information can be found at www.MaderaWineTrail.com.
