On Saturday March 7 and Sunday March 8, guests’ tickets serve as the keys to open cellar doors at more than 40 of Amador’s best wineries. Each stop entitles a guest to a carefully selected flight of wines to taste along with thoughtful food pairings and the opportunity to participate in a myriad of fun and educational seminars and demonstrations. Tasters can experience new and as-yet unbottled vintages straight from the barrel, help the vineyard manager prune her vines or learn about the balance of art and science in creating the perfect blend. The entire experience is included in the ticket price and comes with a commemorative wine glass.

New for 2020, each guest will receive an extensive program booklet that includes a fold out map of participating locations and details of the Behind the Cellar Door offerings for each location. Additionally, the program booklet includes offerings from all participating wineries that will be good for one-time use through June 30, 2020. Participants can avail themselves of a variety of activities. How about an exclusive winery tour or complimentary tastings for up to four guests? Or taste a specially selected older vintage or receive “wine club member benefits for a day”. The extended offerings are as varied as the character of our member wineries and provide an additional incredible value for attendees.
