If you love margaritas as much as I do, you’re in for a treat. Orange County is home to some fantastic spots where you can enjoy a delicious margarita. Here are some of my favorite places to sip this classic cocktail.
Avila’s El Ranchito – Laguna Beach
El Ranchito in San Clemente is a gem. This cozy spot offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual night out. Their margaritas are delicious. I highly recommend trying their Blood Orange Margarita – it’s smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of strong.
Rose Canyon Cantina and Grill – Trabuco Canyon
Nestled in the scenic Trabuco Canyon, Rose Canyon Cantina and Grill is a must-visit. The rustic vibe and outdoor seating make it a great place to unwind. Oak Restaurant – Laguna Beach
Oak Restaurant in Laguna Beach has ocean views from the deck and have amazing margaritas. This place has a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for a beachside drink. I had the Lagunarita and it was delicious. It’s fruity and refreshing.
Avila’s El Ranchito – San Clemente
Avila’s El Ranchito in San Clemente offers a fantastic margarita experience. I like the outside area to sit and enjoy a drink. They have a good selection of drinks. I tasted their Strawberry Mint Margarita – it was refreshing and hit the spot. Plus, the food here is good too.
Landers – San Clemente
Landers in San Clemente is a great place to get a drink or eat some food. I go there often when I go to the beach or bike on the bike path nearby. The trendy, relaxed setting is perfect for enjoying a well-crafted margarita. I’ve had a couple different margaritas there and they didn’t disappoint.
La Casita Olvera – Foothill Ranch
La Casita Olvera in Foothill Ranch is a fantastic spot for margarita lovers. The friendly atmosphere and inexpensive menu make it a great choice for any occasion. I loved their Mango Margarita which was sweet and in a big glass. I also love their street tacos.
Garcias Mexican Cuisine – Carlsbad Beach
While not in Orange County, Garcias Mexican Cuisine in Carlsbad Beach is worth the short drive. This place has a laid-back beach vibe. Their margaritas are excellent, especially the Strawberry Margarita. It’s sweet and just what I needed on a sunny day by the beach.
