  1. This article should have been titled “The Amazing SOUTH Orange County” with absolutely No mention of Cities like Yorba Linda, Brea, Cerritos, Los Alamitos, Buena Park, Placentia and many more. Or it could have been a banner for the Affluent areas of OC, not the communities and cities with Charm and Heart.

  2. I call BS. HB, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa Seal Beach, Brea all have great neighborhoods and in some cases better than Irvine, Lake Forest, Santa Ana, Fullerton just to name a few. So I don’t agree with your assessment.

      • I was surprised Yorba Linda was not on then list. Yorba linda has one of the highest and lowest crime rates in the OC and some fantastic neighborhoods and proximity to LA, the beaches and Mountains.

  3. This article should be named “Why I like Newport Beach, Irvine and Laguna Beach”. I grew up in OC and left to go to school in SD. Lived in SD, Seattle and LA for about 20 years and vowed I would never live in OC again. I was then introduced to Fullerton and found that diversity, culture, energy, academic environment, etc I was looking for that is absent in most of South OC.

  4. In recent years there are more crimes in irvince and lake forest than other northern part of OC who ever did this research is not accurate.
